4 February 2023(1 event) – FebFest Online is a fun and free event for all Toastmasters District 53 members. This year's event will feature the following activities at the approximate times shown below. Pecha-Kucha is a speech-a-thon where each speaker presents 20 PowerPoint slides and each slide is shown for exactly 20 seconds, for a total time of 6 minutes 40 seconds. The slides advance automatically, and when they’re done, YOU’re done! The challenge is to deliver an effective speech based on your automatically advancing slides. If you want to present a Pecha-Kucha, click the Pecha-Kucha box below. If not – just come and watch! The Speech-a-Thon is an opportunity to present your next Pathways speech to a broader audience and have it evaluated by someone outside your club. If you want to be a presenter, just click the Speech-a-Thon box in your registration! If you sign up to present a Pecha-Kucha or a Speech-a-Thon speech, we will contact you with additional information. The Table-Topics Marathon is an opportunity to practice your impromptu speaking skills with a broader audience. No need to sign up as this opportunity will be available to all participants.
