8 August 2022(2 events) – Please join your District Trio for a review of our recommendations for International Directors and Executive Committee members for election at the annual business meeting (ABM) in Nashville. We will also answer questions about the proposed amendments to our by-laws. All District 53 Toastmasters are welcome to participate in this Zoom meeting. However, speaking priority will be given to voting members (Presidents and Secretaries).

23 August 2022(1 event) – The Vice President of Membership Forum is an occasion to meet with fellow VPMs from across the district, and address the challenges of advertising, marketing, and closing the sale on membership renewals. We'll review how to help members set and achieve goals, and communicate with members who are working with mentors and proteges for success. 24 August 2022(1 event) – The VPPR Officers Forum is a quarterly occasion for Vice Presidents to meet together from clubs all around the district. We'll discuss marketing plans, developing advertising, brand recognition, and campaign development. These are a chance for you to work with one another to build a plan for YOUR club with best practices and ideas from your colleagues in other clubs. 25 August 2022(1 event) – District Officer Training IThe District Officer Training dates are for Area Directors, Division Directors and Senior Team members only. Club Officers do not have to attend these events, and they are not required for clubs seeking recognition in the Distinguished Club Program. The session on this date will focus on the following module. Successful Club Visits: Twice a year, a District officer is required to visit a club and to report on its conformity with the Toastmasters brand, its successes, and its opportunities for growth. This officer is usually the club's Area Director, who files a written report on the Toastmasters.org website (under District Central) by the end of November and the end of May. We'll talk about how to conduct yourself during this visit, and what kinds of things you should be alert to, and report on, to your District's other officers. |

27 August 2022(2 events) – District Officer Training IThe District Officer Training dates are for Area Directors, Division Directors and Senior Team members only. Club Officers do not have to attend these events, and they are not required for clubs seeking recognition in the Distinguished Club Program. This training program will focus on this module: Successful Club Visits: Twice a year, a District officer is required to visit a club and to report on its conformity with the Toastmasters brand, its successes, and its opportunities for growth. This officer is usually the club's Area Director, who files a written report on the Toastmasters.org website (under District Central) by the end of November and the end of May. We'll talk about how to conduct yourself during this visit, and what kinds of things you should be alert to, and report on, to your District's other officers. – The last District 53 Club Officer Training for the Summer! Please join some of District 53's most lively and interesting presenters as they help you gear up for the 2022-2023 program year. Getting trained as an officer (twice) each year helps your club complete its requirements for the Distinguished Club Program, and become a more successful club.
