1 June 2024Division Director Selina Tourjee and her Area Directors invite you to an afternoon of pizza and fun in Plainfield, CT at D'Marie's Pizza from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 pm! Bring your certificates and awards, your brags and thanks, and come meet and greet with your Division comrades!
Save the date and RSVP for a social and educational event for all our members to celebrate this year. Come and relax, eat, mingle with others and bring your questions about Pathways or anything else.

17 June 2024The District Executive Committee is composed of the District Director, the Program Quality Director, the Club Growth Director, the District Public Relations Manager, the District Administrative Manager, and the District Financial Manager; and the Division Directors and Area Directors of District 53. The Region Advisor and International Director for District 53’s Region are ex officio members.Attendance of other persons at this meeting is by invitation of the District Director. To place an item on the agenda for a specific meeting, please contact the District Administrative Manager or the District Director at least three business days in advance. Clubs that elect officers annually must submit lists to World Headquarters through the Club Central system at Toastmasters.org by June 30 each year.
In standard procedure, club nominations committees should assemble a slate of officers by the first meeting of that club in April, and hold an election (observing all quorum rules) at the Club's Annual Business Meeting at the first meeting in June.

30 June 2024June 30 each year is the end of the Toastmasters Program Year.
The following things occur on June 30 annually, at 12:00 midnight US Mountain Time:
- in clubs, the officer team that should be elected at the club's first meeting in May, take office:
- Remember to get your officer lists in on time!
- Clubs without officers' lists in the system on Toastmasters.org can't use the website!
- in Districts, the elected and appointed officers' terms of office begin.
- Training for district officers runs through August 31 each year
- Area Directors must be appointed between July 1 and August 31 to receive credit toward the DTM award.
- in clubs, the officer team that should be elected at the club's first meeting in May, take office:
