9 January 2024When You Are the JudgeInteractive judges' training to support conducting excellent speech contests.Whether you have never been a speech contest judge, or you have lost count of how many times, join us for a discussion of how to judge objectively using the criteria and scoring sheets. There will be an opportunity to hear contest-style speeches, fill out the judges' ballots, and discuss the experience. We will also discuss pitfalls to watch out for. You will come away from this training prepared to be an excellent judge. Let's conduct our best speech contests yet!!

15 January 2024The District Steering Committee is composed of the District Director, the Program Quality Director, the Club Growth Director, the District Public Relations Manager, the District Administrative Manager, the District Financial Manager, and the Division Directors of District 53. The Region Advisor and International Director for District 53’s Region are ex officio members. It meets on the third Monday of the odd-numbered months.
Attendance of other persons at this meeting is by invitation of the District Director. To place an item on the agenda for a specific meeting, please contact the District Administrative Manager or the District Director at least three business days in advance.
