Toastmasters District 53 members in good standing and other members are welcome to attend this briefing with Question-and-Answer discussion afterward, about becoming a workshop presenter at the 2023 Spring Conference of District 53 Toastmasters, on June 6 2023 in Windsor, CT — issues like being a hybrid/online presenter, or presenting in person, or creating online video content to be made available during the conference, will all be discussed. You will also learn how to prepare an application to present. Led by David Freedman as conference chair, and Patti Walter as District 53 PQD.

This Club Officer Forum for Presidents are held quarterly from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Their goals are to allow you to build connections within the organization to help you and your clubs grow. You set the agenda. Want to learn more about Pathways? We will get someone in there to do a training. Having trouble with the Moments of Truth? Don't worry we got you covered. You decide what to talk about.
Join us for the Vice Presidents of Education Forum on July 27, 2022, for a deep-dive into Pathways management. The Forums are a chance for you to connect with other officers in the same role: sharing best practices, learning about the struggles and opportunities of your role, and building camaraderie with your colleagues in other clubs.

Talk Up Toastmasters is a membership building event sponsored by Toastmasters International every year. If a club gets five new members between February 1 and March 31, they qualify for a special ribbon and discounts in the Toastmasters Store!

Clubs can get credit for Goal 9b of the Distinguished Club Program, by having four or more officers attend training during the winter season of club officer training.
This training runs three hours, from 9:00 am to noon on Saturday, February 4, 2023!
FebFestOnline is a fun and free event for all Toastmasters District 53 members.
This year's event will feature the following activities at the approximate times shown below.

02:00pm - Speech-a-thon
03:00pm - Table Topics Marathon
Pecha-Kuchais a speech-a-thon where each speaker presents 20 PowerPoint slides and each slide is shown for exactly 20 seconds, for a total time of 6 minutes 40 seconds. The slides advance automatically, and when they’re done, YOU’re done! The challenge is to deliver an effective speech based on your automatically advancing slides. TheSpeech-a-Thon is an opportunity to present your next Pathways speech to a broader audience and have it evaluated by someone outside your club. If you want to be a presenter, just click the Speech-a-Thon box in your registration!

The Table-Topics Marathon is an opportunity to practice your impromptu speaking skills with a broader audience. No need to sign up as this opportunity will be available to all participants.
