District 53 is pleased to announce that this year’s contest formats will be the International Speech Contest and the Table Topics Contest.
All contests will begin at the Club level. Contests may be in person (recommended) or hybrid/online.
Area, Division and District Contests will be in person only.
The Speech Contest Rulebook For 2024-2025 is available
Schedule:
- Club Level Contests: October 01 through December 31, 2024
- Area Level Contests: January 01 through February 28, 2025
- Division Level Contests: March 01 through March 31, 2025
- District Level Contests will be at the District53 Conference
Trophies:
- Clubs should award their own certificates or trophies
- The District will provide certificates to the Area, Division and District level contestants, and trophies to the Area, Division and District level winners.
Chief Judge/Contest Chair:
The District Chief Judge (DCJ) for 2024-2025 is Nathan Jaycox.
Please take appropriate steps to communicate to all the stakeholders i.e. Club Members, Club Officers, Area Directors, Division Directors, Senior Leaders and Committee Chairs & members.
