Hello District 53 Members!
As we enter into our new year beginning July 1, 2021 there are a number of changes that have occurred. In addition to a new Senior Leadership team coming on board, new division and area directors, and some realignment changes, we also have decided to change how we manage our website.
For the past couple of years we have had an arrangement with a third party company who handled hosting, and content updates to the district website. After some careful evaluation for a few different reasons, we have decided to bring the website back to being managed by district volunteers.
We wanted to make this announcement to not only keep you informed, but also you may notice some ‘Under Construction’ signs on pages. Those placeholders are there as we evaluate and update the content, and will be replaced ASAP over the next few weeks.
The old domain name ‘toastmasters53.org’ will continue to work for the foreseeable future to make sure old links work. All old email aliases will also work and automatically go where they need to go. All of them have also been updated to @d53tm.org – Please use that going forward if you can.
We ask for your patience as we make this transition, and we will work to get everything back in place as quickly as we can.
